  2. I’d heard you’d been working on ‘pineapple’; I’m glad you finally nailed it.

  4. Way to go on getting her to eat pineapple at all. Janey still eyes it with great suspicion. It’s yellow and slightly tangy, this could be something poisonous, or at least “stinky!”.

Janeprefers apples, in fact she has a fetish for them. We go through a rather large Costco bag of apples every week or so and it’s not from me baking pies. She is very particular though. The apple must be washed, then completely dried, and the sticker has to be peeled off. If she is in a particularly elegant mood, tehn it must also be cut up and peeled, so she doesn’t get peel stuck in her teeth.

If someone told me a few years ago that I would be intimately associated with every bodily orifice, and all related fluids, of a child I would have shuddered in horror. But here I am picking bits out of her teeth, checking her bottome for feces or oncoming rash, pulling shredded carrots out of her ears (don’t ask), and being forced to examine every bit of her to figure out which bit is making the “ouchie”. She has sneezed on me, rubbed snot off her nose and wiped it on me, peed, pooped, and thrown up on me.

When you made the coment about the fruit poo, I nearly fell off my chair laughing. I am so there. However, so far nothing beats blueberries and yogurt, the all time combination for texture and odor! Have a good day with few diapers!
